A Terex TAC 730 Wood Chipper<\/p><\/div>\n

Terex has recently announced their latest contrary-protection design for their mobile wood chipper. This means that if a huge contrary overloads the blade, then the blade starts mounting and swings away, protecting the blade from further damage. One such machine with the new feature is the Terex Chipper 730, ensuring the small construction machine<\/a> is always in better condition. With the chippers\u2019 new blade mounting system, it now plays a leading role in ensuring top quality chipping work. In the past, the occasional large contrary would very likely severely damage the chipper\u2019s blades, thus reducing the machine\u2019s lifespan and hurting consumer sentiment. This is why they introduced the Terex 730 chipper to address all these issues.<\/p>\n

The way the commercial wood chipper contrary-protection design works, when a contrary overloads the blade a tiny shear bolt in the blade\u2019s mount gives way, allowing the blade to easily swing away. High-Torque Roller<\/p>\n

High-torque rollers tend to be low-speed because they are powered by built-in electric motors. These motors are quieter than the normal variant, making them the number one choice for residential projects. On top of that, they are also equipped with self-feeding blades, while some models also offer a unique anti-jamming feature.<\/p>\n

Drum<\/p>\n

The drum chipper<\/a> is named for the huge, motor-powered drum placed at the center of the equipment. This machine operates significantly louder than others but makes up for it by being much quicker. However, there are also greater risks involved with the drum chipper. The reason being that the drum and engine are directly connected; any type of jamming in the drum can directly affect the engine, causing both components to malfunction. In addition, operator shave to take extra precautions when feeding the drum chipper. That said, most drum chippers do have extra safety features, ensuring operator protection while also minimizing hazards.<\/p>\n

Disc<\/p>\n

A disc chipper machine features a disc, usually made up by steel that is attached with sharp cutting blades. The material is drawn from the outer hopper through hydraulic wheels and then moved directly toward the spinning disc. As the disc starts rotating, the attached blades come into contact with the wood planks, and the material is then sliced into fine chips.<\/p>\n
